Is A Homeschool High School Diploma Any Good?
While some colleges will have a prejudice against someone who is applying for entry based upon a homeschool high school diploma, most are getting used to the fact that so many young people are being home schooled. Unlike years ago, when home schooling was a rarity, more parents than ever are choosing to home school their children. Many home schooled children excel academically. For this reason, colleges are no longer reluctant to accept a homeschool high school diploma for entry into the college. Although the homeschool high school diploma is similar to a GED, because the child has been home schooled, many college officials believe that he or she will do exceptionally well academically.
