Bankruptcy, patent law, corporate law, real estate and tax law are just some of the fields in which paralegals work. Their duties vary therefore according to the field they work in and according to the needs of the organization. Hence, a paralegal resume should be written as a blend of the acquired paralegal skills of an individual and the specialization and skills that are compatible with the company requirements, as would be stated in their job advertisement. For instance, if you are applying for a company whose job posting calls for a paralegal who could draft documents and interview the witnesses, you would highlight any experience that you have gained with any legal firm with the same job profile.
