A Duplicate Tool
When there is a need for a computer forensics investigation that is usually because there has been some incident of suspected theft or fraud within the enterprise. Once an investigation is started, the first thing that has to be done is that the data has to be copied in the exact format that it exists on the machine in question. Most of the tools that are used are software tools, but there is one hardware tool that is used - the computer forensic duplicator. This mechanism will allow the technicians to produce a very accurate copy (called an image) of the storage devices of the computer.
