Security Software Then and Now
In the old days of computing, viruses were spread mostly through diskettes and later, compact disks. Now the internet is the primary means for distributing viruses, worms, Trojans, and all manner of unsavory programming that renders you data unsafe and you computer unusable. And if that weren’t enough, there are internet criminals out there who use the internet to harm people for their own gain. In light of this, it is absolutely necessary to have some kind of Security Software installed in your computer to prevent unauthorized access of your computer. After all, you’d never leave your car doors unlocked; why should you let your computer be any less secure?
