When Can I Use Flea And Tick Kitten Collars?
A woman came into my store and I showed her a number of safety kitten collars from which to choose. She then asked about flea and tick kitten collars. This is an area where I have very knowledgeable information. I explained to the woman that flea and tick products cannot be used on cats until they are nine months old. I then suggested that the woman use the liquid products that are available through a veterinarian. The liquid is dropped between the shoulder blades on the back of the cat. The application is made once a month.
