I love how windows has thought ahead and installed the wireless network software, rather integrated it directly into windows back when wireless was available but not many households were using it. They saw the future and that future is now. The program will automatically Detect Wireless Network traffic if your card is installed and operating. It will ask you if you want to connect to the networks available and often their are several from other homes in your neighborhood, but if it’s protected as yours should be, nobody can access them but the computer with the encryption key or WAP key. Once entered on your computer you can set it to automatically detect the key so you don’t have to enter it over and over again.

I’m checking out options for High Speed Internet Card For Laptops. There are quite a few options out there now.
I think the ability to work anywhere is more than worth it for me.

I’ve been curious lately about Cat6 Cable.
I need to learn to run the cables myself, since I’m not planning on paying someone to do it.
Of course dealing with Cat 6 Plenum Cable isn’t all that tough. The crimping is the main issue.

I honestly don’t know how I got along before the invention of Wireless Laptop NetworkingWireless Laptop Service. Now I can work anywhere. Being able to work from home is great and all, but it gets old fast when there’s no one around to keep you company.
I think my next “office” will be the local brewpub. Working on pub grub, Guinness in hand - sounds good to me.

Working from home is great and all, but man do I get a nasty case of cabin fever sometimes. I’m thinking of investing in a
wireless broadband notebook so I can get out and be around people more often. Maybe get a little sun and look a little less like gollum.

Got what I wanted for my birthday for once - my wife bought me a wireless laptop, so I can get out of the house and work remotely more often. I’m psyched!

wireless Internet notebook. One more day-long stint working in my lightless cell of an apartment might just send me over the edge. It would be much better to get out and work in a cafe or some other internet hotspot.

I was recently over at a friend’s place who has recently installed a new wireless network connection. One of the problems he was complaining about was the fact that his bandwidth had already been consumed without him using the internet more than a couple of times. I checked his plan out and it seemed to have a reasonable bandwidth allocation. The next thing I checked was his settings.
